Arcadia SSC, a proud division of All for Smiles Ability Services, is committed to working collaboratively with clients and their support teams to optimise their NDIS plan. Our approach focuses on identifying and connecting clients with tailored supports that effectively address their disability needs while remaining practical and sustainable for their broader support networks to implement, ensuring long-term, meaningful outcomes.
Practice Leader / Specialist Support Coordinator
As Practice Leader at Arcadia SSC, Georgie leads a team committed to delivering high quality specialist support coordination services. She oversees the development of comprehensive, client-centred intervention plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs and system involvement. These plans address barriers, identify risks, and create actionable, holistic strategies to support clients in achieving their goals. Georgie fosters collaboration by building strong relationships and communication pathways with NDIS representatives, including the Justice Planning and Children and Young People teams.
Georgie also provides specialist support coordination for NDIS participants involved in the Justice System, including high-risk offenders subject to varying orders, including Supervised Treatment, Community Treatment, Interim Detention and Community Correction Orders. She has extensive experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to design and implement tailored disability supports. Her approach ensures that functional impairments resulting from disability are addressed effectively while risks to both the individual and the broader community are minimised.
“I believe that true success for our participants comes from collaboration between NDIS services and other key systems, such as the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, and Department of Health. Participants with complex needs and disabilities often encounter significant barriers in accessing vital services, including mental health care, welfare support, health services, and drug and alcohol treatment. I am passionate about working with stakeholders across these systems to create integrated, tailored plans that address all aspects of a participant’s needs and risks. No single system can meet these challenges in isolation.
Having witnessed the high prevalence of neurodevelopmental and psychosocial disabilities among offenders, I believe it is critical for NDIS supports to partner with other agencies. This collaboration is essential to ensure safe transitions back into the community, reduce the risk of recidivism, and empower participants to build independent living skills, ultimately improving their quality of life and creating long-term positive outcomes.” – Georgie
